The vehicle was observed speeding up and slowing down intermittently and appeared to be looking at houses along the street. The member believed the occupants may have been looking for packages but was unable to provide a vehicle or occupant description. 12/5 – 10:00–10:30 pm | Zone 7 – Broadmoor Avenue BIS received a call from a member at 1:36 am regarding a group of adult males observed on the home’s exterior cameras between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm walking in the street. The males were all wearing hoodies, and no further description was possible. One male was observed approaching the member’s front door, while another was recorded attempting to open the member’s kitchen door. Both attempts to enter the home were unsuccessful,

12/1 – 7:03 am | Zone 9 – Cheyenne Road BIS Officer received an alarm call at a member’s residence for a first-floor/general alarm. Due to icy road conditions, the Officer arrived at 7:13 am. No vehicles or individuals were observed in the area upon arrival. The Officer noted the alarm was not audible. Leaf Burning Incident | Zone 9 Around noon on Saturday, November 22, 2025, a BIS member noticed smoke coming from a neighbor’s yard and promptly notified Broadmoor Fire. Fire personnel responded immediately and discovered that the non-member homeowner had been burning leaves and other yard debris without the required permit. Mailbox Incident At roughly 5:30am on Friday Nov 14 th , a BIS member discovered a large amount of mail scattered near the intersection of Marland Road South and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road. The mail appeared to belong to residents living on or near Woodside Lane, just east of Nevada Avenue/Highway 115. While a few pieces had been opened, the majority remained intact. Graffiti Activity There have been recent incidents of graffiti on commercial buildings, though none were reported this past week. When graffiti is observed by BIS Officers, it is promptly painted over with spray paint.
