3/2 – 4:08 pm | Zone 7 – Broadmoor Ave

Received a call from a BIS member’s family member (the member was away from home) regarding a silver Subaru sedan captured on the homeowner’s camera system. The member’s daughter reported that no one was expected to visit the residence until Wednesday, March 4. The BIS Officer arrived at 4:11 pm and observed the silver Subaru parked and unattended in the driveway. The Officer conducted a perimeter check of the residence and noted that all exterior doors and windows were intact and secure, with no signs of attempted forced entry. The Officer knocked on the front door several times but received no response. The homeowner’s daughter then arrived and contact was made with the housekeeper inside the residence. It was determined that the housekeeper owned the silver Subaru and had arrived to service the residence off schedule. Officer cleared the call at 4:17 pm.

3/3 – 12:00 am | Zone 6 – Broadmoor Valley Road

While patrolling the area, the on-duty BIS Officer observed a dark-colored Toyota Corolla parked and occupied by two individuals at the closed neighborhood park. The Officer made contact with a Hispanic female in her 30s with short black hair, wearing a white shirt, seated in the driver’s seat. In the front passenger seat was a Hispanic male, also in his 30s, with short black hair, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. Both individuals appeared unimpaired and did not appear to require assistance. The parties were advised the park was closed for the night as indicated by posted park rules and City ordinance. Nothing otherwise unusual was observed. The vehicle left the area without issue. Officer cleared the scene at 12:03 am.

3/3 – 11:36 pm | Zone 6 – Star Ranch Road

While on regular patrol, a BIS Officer observed a suspicious dark-colored Toyota with a partially obscured license plate parked in the parking lot of a member’s closed business. The Officer approached the vehicle and observed it was occupied by a white male in his 30s with a thin build, blonde hair, and eyeglasses. The Officer made contact, informed the individual that overnight parking was prohibited, and requested he vacate the premises. The male left the area when asked without issue. Officer cleared the scene at 11:40 pm.

3/4 – Routine patrols completed – no reportable incidents.

3/5 – 10:45 pm | Zone 9 – Colonnade Court

The night-shift BIS Officer received a call from a member who was away from home regarding a water-sensor alarm activation at the residence. The Officer arrived at 10:50 pm and conducted an exterior check of the home, along with a visual inspection of the interior through the windows. No alarm could be heard and no water presence or leakage was observed. The reporting member was called back but did not answer, so the Officer left a detailed voicemail regarding his observations. Officer cleared the call at 10:56 pm.

3/6 – Routine patrols completed – no reportable incidents.

3/7 – Routine patrols completed – no reportable incidents.

3/8 – 3:40 pm | Zone 4 – Strickler Road

The on-duty BIS Officer received a call from a non-member reporting a suspicious, possibly homeless male walking onto another non-member’s property. The male was described as a white male wearing dark clothing and pushing a small scooter. Knowing that BIS has several members in the immediate vicinity, the Officer responded to ensure the individual did not trespass or solicit on members’ properties. The Officer arrived in the area at 3:57 pm and checked numerous nearby streets but was unable to locate anyone matching the description. BIS received no additional calls regarding the individual. The Officer cleared the scene at 4:00 pm.
