Officer Reports 2/23/26 to 3/1/26

2/25 – 3:31 am | Zone 6 – Cheyenne Mountain Blvd

While patrolling the area, the BIS Officer observed a red Dodge Ram with temporary tags parked behind a closed business. The vehicle was unoccupied and had not previously been observed in the area. No individuals were seen nearby and nothing unusual was noted. Officer cleared the area at 3:40 am.

2/26 – 9:15 pm | Zone 8 – Marland Road

The BIS Officer received a call from a BIS member reporting a suspicious vehicle driving slowly through the neighborhood and stopping in front of several homes. The vehicle was described as an older model Chevy Suburban with unknown license plates and an unknown number of occupants. The Officer arrived at 9:22 pm and conducted patrol checks of numerous streets in the area but did not locate the vehicle or observe any suspicious activity. No additional calls were received regarding the vehicle. The reporting member was contacted, and a voicemail message was left with an update. Officer cleared the call at 9:35 pm.

2/28 – 3:16 am | Zone 9 – Chataway Court

The BIS Officer received a call from Advanced Alarm regarding an active alarm at a member’s residence triggered by a basement motion detector. The Officer arrived at 3:19 am and noted that the alarm was not audible upon arrival. No vehicles or individuals were observed in the area. A full exterior check of the residence was conducted, and no signs of attempted entry were observed. All doors and windows were secure, and nothing appeared disturbed inside the home. The Officer attempted to contact the member at the front door but received no answer. Advanced Alarm was notified that the residence was secure. Officer cleared the call at 3:31 am.
