10/2…3:36 PM | Zone 4 – Cypress Lane
BIS Officer received a call from a member regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in the area for over an hour. The vehicle was described as a silver/grey car. No information about any occupants was available. BIS Officer arrived at 3:40 PM and conducted a thorough search of the area but was unable to locate the vehicle. No additional calls were received regarding this matter. Officer cleared the call at 3:43 PM.
10/2…11:55 PM | Zone 6 – Haversham Drive
BIS Officer received a call from Advanced Alarm Company regarding a burglar alarm activation from the lower level of a BIS member’s residence. Officer arrived at 12:00 AM and did not observe any vehicles or individuals while responding or upon arrival. A full exterior check was conducted; no signs of forced entry, damage, or anything unusual were observed. The Officer contacted Advanced Alarm Company and the homeowner to report that all was secure. Call cleared at 12:25 AM.

10/4…1:29 AM | Zone 10 – Leaming Road
BIS Officer received a call from a BIS member reporting several gunshots heard in the area. The Officer, who was patrolling nearby, also heard 4–5 gunshots coming from west of Old Stage Road, possibly in the National Forest area. Several additional shots (7–8) were heard shortly after, though they sounded farther away. No vehicles or individuals were observed. The Officer advised the member that EPCSO or CSPD would be contacted if additional gunfire was heard or any suspicious activity observed. No further calls were received. The Officer cleared the call at 1:36 AM and continued to monitor the area throughout the night.
10/4…5:40 PM | Zone 4 – Strickler Road
BIS Officer received a call from a member reporting the theft of solar lights and yard sale signs from their yard. The member stated this was the second such incident that week. No description of suspects or vehicles was available, as none were observed at the time. The Officer documented the incident for distribution to all patrol units and monitored the area over the next several days. No further incidents were reported.
