9/22 – 1:22 PM | Zone 6 – Iron Duke Court
While on patrol, a BIS Officer was notified by an alarm company of an alarm activation at a member’s residence. The Officer immediately responded and arrived at 1:27 PM. Upon arrival, a vehicle was observed parked in the driveway; its information was logged. A full exterior check of the residence revealed no signs of forced entry, damage, or disturbed property. No individuals were seen in the area. The Officer made contact with the member’s housekeeper (owner of the parked vehicle), who advised that she had mistakenly entered the wrong alarm code and triggered the alarm. The alarm company was notified of the false alarm. The Officer cleared the call at 1:37 PM.
9/22 – 7:18 PM | Cresta Road
A BIS member reported a suspicious male walking southbound on Cresta Road, described only as “scruffy looking.” The Officer arrived at 7:20 PM and searched the area but was unable to locate the individual. No further calls were received regarding this subject. The Officer cleared the call at 7:30 PM.
9/23 – 10:22 AM | Lake Avenue
A BIS member reported a suspicious WM, mid-20s, wearing jeans and a light gray hoodie, with brown hair and a beard. The subject appeared to be wandering aimlessly and was non-responsive when approached by the reporting member. The BIS Officer arrived at 10:29 AM, checked Lake Avenue and surrounding side streets, but did not locate anyone matching the description. The male had apparently left the area. Information was logged for reference and sharing with other Officers. The Officer cleared the call at 10:46 AM.

9/27 – 8:45 AM | Zone 10 – Penrose Blvd
A member reported a suspicious BM wearing light-colored clothing. The BIS Officer arrived at 8:55 AM and searched several streets in the area but was unable to locate anyone matching the description. No additional calls were received. The incident was logged for future reference. The Officer cleared the call at 9:00 AM.
9/27 – 4:57 PM | Zone 1 – Mayhurst Avenue
While on patrol, a BIS Officer was notified of an alarm activation at a member’s residence. The alarm was reported as audible and linked to a basement motion sensor. The Officer arrived at 5:04 PM; however, the alarm was no longer audible. No vehicles or individuals were observed at the residence or in the area. A full exterior check revealed no signs of attempted entry or damage. The residence was secure. The alarm company notified the member. The Officer cleared the call at 5:12 PM.
9/28 – 9:23 AM | Zone 7 – First Street
A BIS member reported that visiting family members’ vehicle had been broken into in the Cheyenne Canyon area. The BIS Officer arrived at 9:26 AM and spoke with the victims, who had tracked some stolen items via an AirTag and found them scattered in the street. Additional items belonging to other victims—including a bag, iPad, and laptop—were also discovered in the street. CSPD had been notified and was en route to take a report at the member’s residence. No suspect information was available. The incident was logged for future reference. The Officer cleared the call at 9:40 AM.
