7/28 – 11:42 AM | Zone 9 – Marland Road South

A BIS Officer received a call from a member regarding a possibly homeless male and female requesting water at the member’s residence. No description was provided. While en route, a second report was received of similar individuals sighted on Sequoyah Road. The officer located and contacted two homeless-appearing individuals at Broadmoor Elementary at 11:51 AM. After a brief assessment, the officer provided information about local homeless services and advised the pair not to approach residents or enter private property. The officer cleared the call at 12:05 PM. The individuals were monitored until they left the area. No further calls were received.


7/28 – 1:25 PM | Zone 4 – Old Broadmoor Road

A BIS member reported two possibly homeless males sleeping under a tree near their residence. No further description was available. The officer responded and arrived at 2:00 PM but was unable to locate the individuals; they had already left the area. The officer cleared the call at 2:10 PM. No additional reports were received.


7/29 – 9:33 AM | Zone 10 – Penrose Blvd

A BIS member, away from home, reported an unknown male observed via their doorbell camera knocking on the front door. The individual had reportedly been seen in the area previously. The officer arrived at 9:38 AM and conducted a thorough exterior check of the property. No signs of attempted entry, damage, or suspicious activity were found. All doors and windows were secure. A voicemail with findings was left for the reporting member. The officer cleared the call at 9:42 AM.


7/29 – 2:01 PM | Elm Avenue: A non-member reported a suspicious white pickup truck with landscaping company markings, occupied by an unknown male. The officer arrived at 2:04 PM and located the vehicle. The driver stated he had pulled over to take a phone call. No suspicious activity was observed. The officer cleared the call at 2:07 PM.

7/31 – 6:11 PM | Zone 6 – Fox Grove Court

A member reported a suspicious male, observed by the member’s mother, walking through the backyard wearing a gray jacket. The officer arrived at 6:17 PM and conducted a thorough search of the area. No one matching the description was located, and nothing out of the ordinary was observed. It was noted that heavy rain was occurring during the time of the sighting and the officer’s response. The officer contacted the reporting member and cleared the call at 6:30 PM.


8/1 – 8/2

No incidents reported.


8/3 – 6:30 PM | Zone 2 – Polo Drive

A BIS member reported, via phone and email, the theft of three ornate glass yard decorations from the front yard within the past 24 hours. No suspects were seen and no footage was captured on surveillance cameras. The information was logged and shared with all BIS officers. Patrols in the area will be increased, with heightened attention to the missing items.
