Officer Reports 6/15/26 to 6/21/26

6/15 – Routine patrols completed – no reportable incidents.

6/16 – 10:38 pm | Zone 7 – Berthe Circle

A BIS member reported loud screaming and yelling coming from a nearby residence on Berthe Circle. The member also observed multiple teenage-appearing females running up and down the street, with some individuals jumping the fence into the member's backyard. Numerous vehicles were parked along the street.

The BIS Officer arrived at 10:45 pm and observed a large number of vehicles parked along Berthe Circle and Broadmoor Avenue, as well as several empty alcoholic beverage cans in the roadway. Loud music and yelling could be heard from a nearby residence, confirming a large party was underway. The residence was verified as belonging to a non-BIS member.

The Officer observed approximately 15–20 individuals in the backyard. An attempt to speak with one of the attendees was intentionally ignored. Most of the attendees appeared to be underage teenagers, and alcoholic beverages were clearly visible.

The BIS Officer notified CSPD of a suspected underage drinking party and updated the reporting member that CSPD had been contacted. While waiting for officers to arrive, most of the attendees quickly entered vehicles and left the area. At 11:55 pm, the BIS Officer contacted CSPD again to advise that the party had dispersed. It is unknown whether CSPD responded. The Officer cleared the call at 12:00 am and monitored the area throughout the remainder of the shift. No further activity was observed.

6/17 – 6:43 pm | Zone 3 – Bear Paw Lane North

A BIS member reported that approximately one hour earlier, at 5:54 pm, a suspicious male rang the member's doorbell. The individual was described as a Black male in his 50s with a beard, wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt over a white long-sleeve shirt, tan pants, and carrying a large white envelope in his back pocket. The member observed the individual on their Ring doorbell camera and did not answer the door. The Ring video was forwarded to the BIS Officer.

The Officer arrived at 7:00 pm and contacted the reporting member. While checking the area, the Officer also received a call from a neighbor reporting the same individual. A thorough search of the area was conducted, but no one matching the description was located. No additional reports were received. The Officer cleared the call at 7:08 pm and continued monitoring the area throughout the evening without locating the individual. The suspect information was documented and shared with all BIS Officers for future reference.

6/18 – 7:38 pm | Zone 3 – Seventh Street

A BIS member who was away from home reported observing a suspicious male on the member's Ring doorbell camera. The individual was described as a white male, approximately 5'9", wearing a blue shirt, baseball cap, and gray work pants. The male knocked on the front door and remained on the porch for several minutes before leaving.

The BIS Officer arrived at 7:50 pm but found no one in front of the residence or on the surrounding streets. No suspicious vehicles were observed. A complete exterior inspection of the residence revealed no signs of attempted forced entry, property damage, or other suspicious activity. The homeowner was advised that the residence was secure. No additional reports regarding the individual were received. The Officer cleared the call at 7:57 pm and conducted periodic checks of the residence throughout the night. The suspect information was documented and shared with all BIS Officers.

6/19 – 2:10 pm | Zone 9 – Menary Way

A BIS member reported that a suspicious white male rang the member's doorbell and asked about mountain lions in the area. The member did not answer the door and was unable to provide a more detailed description.

The BIS Officer arrived at 2:21 pm and checked the surrounding neighborhood but did not locate any suspicious individuals or vehicles. No additional reports were received. The Officer cleared the call at 2:35 pm, continued monitoring the area for the remainder of the shift, and documented the information for future reference.

6/19 – 3:15 pm | Zone 1 – Maple Avenue

At approximately 4:00 pm, the on-duty BIS Officer received a text message from a BIS member who was away from home regarding a Ring camera alert showing an unknown male ringing the front doorbell and knocking on both the front and side doors approximately 45 minutes earlier. No description was initially available.

The Officer responded immediately, arriving at 4:08 pm. A complete exterior inspection of the residence found no signs of attempted forced entry, property damage, or other suspicious activity. All doors and windows were secure, and no suspicious individuals or vehicles were observed in the area. The member was advised by text that the residence was secure. The Officer cleared the call at 4:20 pm and continued checking the residence throughout the remainder of the shift.

Later that evening, the member forwarded the Ring camera video to the BIS Officer. The individual was observed to be a white male in his late teens or early 20s with brown hair, wearing a black polo shirt displaying the company name "SHIELD," light-colored cargo pants, hiking boots, and a white boonie-style hat. The individual appeared to be carrying a cell phone. Video footage showed the male first rang the doorbell at 3:07 pm and returned at 7:15 pm to ring the doorbell a second time. The suspect information and video were documented and shared with all BIS Officers.

6/20 – 4:24 pm | Zone 9 – Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road

A BIS member reported observing two individuals involved in what appeared to be a heated argument near the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The individuals were described as a younger Hispanic male and Hispanic female. The female, who appeared to be driving a white four-door sedan, was wearing shorts and a tank top. No additional description was available.

The BIS Officer arrived at 4:37 pm and checked the area, including Old Stage Road and surrounding streets, but did not locate the individuals or vehicle. No additional reports were received. The Officer cleared the call at 4:40 pm.
