6/3…3:20 pm…Zone 5…Miramar Drive: Received a call from a BIS member regarding suspicious vendor activity. The member reported an individual in a white Cadillac pickup truck going door to door selling frozen meat. Pickup appeared to be older and somewhat "beat up". No other description provided. The officer responded to the area but was unable to locate the vehicle. No other calls regarding the pickup or driver were received. Information logged for future reference. The officer cleared the call at 3:40 pm.
6/4…11:31 am…Zone 9…Old Stage Road…BIS Officer observed the white Cadillac Escalade pickup truck possibly selling frozen meat that was first reported yesterday (6/3), driving on Old Stage Road. The truck was being driven by a heavy-set HM wearing khaki shorts and a collared dress shirt. The truck had a large steel freezer in the truck bed and had a rusted side panel. Vehicle had Colorado issued license plates. The officer attempted to "flag down" the driver but the driver continued driving. Officer followed the vehicle until the vehicle departed our patrol zone. The BIS Officer then received another call reporting the same truck in zone 5 at 3:22 pm. Vehicle had been seen southbound on 6th Street. BIS Officer arrived in the area at 3:31 pm. Officer checked the area extensively but was unable to locate the pickup. No other calls regarding the meat vendor were received. Officer cleared the call at 4:06 pm. Vehicle and driver description logged for future reference.

6/7…1:47 am…Zone 8…Pourtales Road/Mirada Road: Received a call from a BIS member stating that someone had just crashed their vehicle through the member's fence into their backyard. BIS officer arrived at 1:48 am to find a dark colored Toyota Tacoma with Colorado plates that had been driven through the fence, striking several large landscaping rocks, and became high centered and unable to move. The driver was a WM, 17-20 years old and the driver appeared uninjured. CSPD had been notified so BIS Officer remained at scene waiting for their arrival. CSPD arrived at 2:26 am and BIS Officer cleared at 2:30 am.
6/7…3:26 am…Zone 8…Marland Road: Received a call from a BIS member reporting a strange acting WM with no clothes on, waving his arms at Marland Road and Crossland Road. BIS Officer arrived at 3:32 am and located the male walking near Broadmoor Elementary School. WM described as being in his 30’s, 6’ tall, 220 lbs, short dark hair, with a beard and mustache. The man was wearing blue pants and tan sandals. Male was not wearing a shirt and had numerous tattoos on his chest and back. BIS Officer contacted the male who appeared to be possibly under the influence of some substance. Upon being contacted the male was mumbling incoherently about “God and killers”. The impaired male refused medical assistance/ambulance or an offer to contact someone known to the male for help. The impaired male informed the BIS Officer he was leaving and began walking. BIS Officer was concerned for the male's health and safety and notified CSPD at 3:41 am. Officer monitored subject until CSPD arrived at 4:12 am and contacted the male in the 2800 block of Old Broadmoor Road. CSPD called for medical assistance/ambulance for the male. BIS officer cleared at 4:21 am.
6/7…1:12 pm…Zone 4…Sycamore Street and Old Broadmoor Road: Received a call from a BIS member regarding a possible domestic argument that was happening on the street. A male and female were observed in a vehicle parked on the street, noticeably having an argument. The BIS Officer arrived at 1:20 pm and contacted a HM, 20s, with short dark hair, wearing a dark shirt and a HF, 20s, with short dark hair wearing a black top and jean shorts. Both were inside a blue Honda Civic with Colorado plates. When contacted by the BIS Officer, both were calm and pleasant, but it was clear they had been arguing with each other. Neither party appeared to have any physical injuries, so the BIS Officer recommended that they go home and not argue on the street. They left the area with no problems. The officer cleared the call at 1:40 pm.
6/8…4:42 pm…Zone 4…Cypress Lane and Woodburn Street: BIS Officer received a call from a member reporting a possibly homeless WM wearing a blue sweater with PENN STATE on the front, and dark green pants, walking in the area. BIS officer arrived at 5:00 pm and searched the area for the possibly homeless male. Officer was unable to locate the male in the area. No other calls regarding the homeless male were received. Officer cleared the call at 5:05 pm. Officer logged the male’s description and information for future reference.
