5/5…9:02 pm…Zone 2…Polo Drive: BIS Officer received a call from a member stating an unknown suspicious male was observed on the Ring doorbell camera at the member's residence earlier in the day. The suspicious male had stated on camera that he worked for a local glass company. No further description of the suspicious male was provided. BIS officer responded and conducted a complete exterior security check of the residence and noted that nothing unusual was observed. There were no signs of attempted forced entry, or damaged property found. No suspicious vehicles or individuals were seen in the area. Member was contacted and informed of the search results. The area was monitored by the Officer for the remainder of the night. The member followed up with the local glass company and notified BIS that the company could not confirm they had an employee in the area on the date the suspicious person was at the member's residence. Officer logged and shared information for future reference. Extra patrols of the area were recorded for the following 5 days/nights.
5/6…10:38 pm…Zone 9…Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road: Received a call from a BIS member stating a dark colored sedan was observed suspiciously driving up and down the road in the area several times. The vehicle was observed by the member to stop at the entrance to the water storage/treatment area before driving off quickly towards Old Stage Road. The BIS Officer immediately responded arriving at 10:40 pm and began checking the areas of Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, Old Stage Road and Marland Road South. No vehicles matching the description were located and nothing unusual was observed in the area by the Officer. The officer cleared the call at 10:55 pm.
Special Note-Suspicious Vehicles: BIS Officers have been on heightened alert for suspicious vehicles considering recent incidents involving armed men attempting vehicle break-ins throughout the area. Call the BIS emergency/on duty Officer telephone number at 719-661-0719 regarding any suspicious vehicles of individuals are welcome and encouraged.
5/7…2:35 am…Zone 8…Marland Road: BIS member called stating an unknown individual had rung the doorbell multiple times over the last 45 minutes. No description of the suspicious person was available. The BIS Officer immediately responded and arrived at 2:39 am and met with the member. The officer conducted a complete exterior check of the residence but did not observe any suspicious persons, signs of attempted forced entry, or missing or damaged property. No vehicles or individuals were seen in the area. No other calls regarding similar events were received. The officer monitored the residence for the remainder of the night and logged the information for all BIS Officers. Officer cleared the call at 2:50 am.

5/11…10:17 am…Zone 10…El Pomar Road: BIS Officer received a voicemail on the office telephone number regarding a suspicious vehicle parked on El Pomar Road. No vehicle description was provided. The Officer responded and located a damaged vehicle parked and unattended on El Pomar Road. The vehicle was a blue Chevy Malibu with Michigan plates. The vehicle was not blocking traffic and was legally parked. The BIS Officer observed that the vehicle was not drivable due to damage to the front right tire and rim. Damage was consistent with the vehicle possibly striking a curb in the area. No individuals possibly associated with the vehicle were seen in the area. No other calls were received. The damaged vehicle was still parked in the same location at 10:31 pm. BIS Officer notified CSPD who stated that an officer would be sent when available. The vehicle was no longer in the area at 3:02 am.
