5/27…6:47 pm…Zone 6…Edinburgh Court: While on patrol, BIS Officer was flagged down by two non-BIS members reporting a suspicious male taking pictures of houses on the street. Male was described as a WM who appeared to be in his 30’s, wearing a blue t-shirt, white shorts and flip flops. The BIS Officer checked several streets in the area but was unable to locate the subject. The officer spoke with the reporting parties on the street and cleared the scene at 6:58 pm..

5/29…6:38 pm…Zone 5…Sequoyah Road: Received a call from a BIS member stating a suspicious male came to the member's door selling replacement windows and displaying "before and after" pictures. The male was described as a WM, mid 20’s, with a mustache and blonde hair, wearing a green and yellow vest and a sweatshirt. BIS Officer arrived at 6:41 pm, located and contacted the male at Sequoyah Road and Sierra Vista Drive. The male’s name was Nick who presented identification that he worked for Revival Window Company. Officer advised him to stay clear of properties marked with No Soliciting/Private Property/BIS signs. The reporting member was contacted as a follow up and informed of male's identity. The officer cleared at 7:00 pm.
5/30…5:55 pm…Zone 4…Elm Circle: Received a call from a BIS member regarding video footage from this date at about 2:30 pm, showing two females in a yellow Nissan Juke with personalized CO plates, going through the member’s trash cans. Reporting member was given the non-emergency number to file a report with CSPD and info for reporting the incident online with CSPD as well. No other calls were received by BIS about this vehicle or individuals.
5/31…2:21 am…Zone 5…Cheyenne Mountain Blvd: Received a call from a BIS member about a suspicious truck parked on the street, engine running, for approximately ten minutes. The vehicle is described as a dark colored truck with lights over the top of the truck. While the member and Officer were on the phone, the member advised the vehicle suddenly drove away West toward Broadmoor Elementary. The BIS Officer arrived in the area at 2:25 am and checked numerous streets attempting to locate the suspicious truck. No vehicles were observed or heard in the area and nothing unusual was found. Reporting member did not want a return call unless something was discovered. No other calls regarding the suspicious truck were received. The officer cleared the call at 3:01 am.
5/31…Unknown time…Zone 10…Penrose Blvd: BIS received an email alerting us to a burglary that occurred overnight at a non-member’s residence. Few details were available other than the house and garage area (undergoing some renovation) were entered and most of the tools that were left by workers were stolen. No descriptions of individuals or any vehicles were available. Incident logged for future reference.
5/31…3:23 pm…Zone 10…Leaming Road: BIS received a call from a BIS member (retrieved from the office voicemail at 4:42 pm) regarding a suspicious truck and two males the member had seen a couple of times in the area recently. The truck was described as a black or dark in color Ford SUV with Nevada plates. It was occupied by two males wearing reflective vests. The BIS Officer responded and checked the area at 4:45 pm. No vehicle matching the description was located. No other calls regarding the suspicious vehicle and occupants were received by BIS. The officer cleared the area at 4:55 The BIS Officer shared the information with the night shift officer who also checked the area several times throughout the night. No vehicles or individuals matching the description were seen in the area.
