4/6 – 1:35 pm | Zone 7 – Broadmoor Ave

BIS Officer received a call regarding a fire alarm at a member’s residence. The alarm company advised the activation occurred at 1:23 pm and that the fire department was en route. The Officer arrived at 1:39 pm as the fire department was clearing the scene. A worker on site confirmed the alarm was triggered by dust from tile cutting. Call cleared at 1:40 pm.


4/7 – 4:28 am | Zone 6 – Star Ranch Road

While on patrol, the Officer contacted a Black female, heavyset, wearing a red shirt, who was sleeping in a gray older-model Toyota Camry parked in the lot of closed businesses. The individual stated she was an Uber driver and had pulled over due to fatigue. No issues were identified. The individual was advised to leave the property prior to dawn. Call cleared at 4:30 am.


4/7 – 10:16 pm | Zone 2 – Elm Ave / Gentry Lane

BIS Officer received a call from a member regarding a suspicious vehicle described as a dark-colored SUV with Colorado plates parked at Elm Ave and Gentry Lane. The Officer arrived at 10:22 pm and contacted a white female in her 60s inside the vehicle. The individual resides on Broadmoor Ave and had pulled over to use her cell phone. The reporting member was contacted and advised of the findings. Call cleared at 10:30 pm.

4/12 – 7:49 am | Zone 7 – Beech Ave

BIS Officer received a call from ADT regarding a hallway motion alarm at a member’s residence. Prior to the Officer’s arrival at 7:59 am, the homeowner advised the alarm was caused by a faulty sensor. The Officer conducted a full exterior check of the residence; all doors and windows were secure with no signs of attempted entry. The homeowner was notified of the findings. Call cleared at 8:10 am.
