10/3…1:50 pm…Zone 6…Broadmoor Valley Road…Suspicious male exhibiting erratic behavior observed by BIS Officer walking north on Broadmoor Valley Road. WM wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes with a blue backpack. Male was observed swinging a large metal water bottle at bushes and passing vehicles. CSPD was notified. Male was seen entering a restaurant at Country Club Corners and exiting with a cup of liquid. BIS officer contacted the male who stated he did not need any help, he just wanted to purchase a soda. Male was contacted again after exiting another business and placing items from his backpack on the ground. Male was told to leave the property and left with no problems. He continued west on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, last seen on the trail between Old Broadmoor Road and White Leaf Circle. BIS officer notified staff at the Colorado Springs School and Cheyenne Mountain School District security. Same male was seen by Cheyenne Mountain School security entering Pourtales Park at 3:40 pm. BIS officer arrived in the area at 3:46 pm and could not locate the male in or around Pourtales Park. No other calls received. Park and area monitored throughout the day and information on suspicious male exchanged with other BIS Officers.
