2/19…11:09am…Zone 10…Bewick Point…Member called to inform the officer that they were locked out of their house. The BIS officer arrived at 11:19am, confirmed who they were and opened the house for the member.
2/20…3:30pm…Zone 1…Elm Ave…Black male wearing a black and white varsity jacket, over 6 feet tall with salt and pepper hair, walked into office lobby and took photos of the interior. When confronted the BM stated that he was with the IRS and left the building within a minute. BM appeared to be homeless. BM was not seen in the area when officers arrived.

2/22..3:35pm…Zone 8…Cheyenne Mtn Blvd…Member reported someone in their backyard ringing their doorbell. Member was not home but saw a white male on their Ring camera who the member did not recognize. The BIS officer responded within 5 minutes and searched the exterior of the house along with ensuring all doors were secured. Nothing unusual was seen at the home. Drove around the block but did not see anyone suspicious in the area. The member was contacted to inform that their house was secure.
2/23…8:25pm…Zone 8…Crossland Road…Received a call from the daughter of an elderly member who stated a male had rang the doorbell a couple of times and was seen walking to the mailbox and standing in the driveway. A description of the individual was not provided. The BIS officer arrived at 8:30pm but no vehicles or individuals were seen in the area. Contacted the member to make sure everything was okay before checking around the exterior of the house. No one seen around the outside of the house with no tracks in the snow from last weekend. The BIS Officer did find a water line broken on the west side of the house with water running down the side of the house. City utilities were called who responded and shut the water off inside the house.
After contacting the utility company, the officer spotted a neighbor who happened to be returning home. The neighbor was asked about the person who rang the members doorbell, but the neighbor did not see anyone in the area. An hour later the neighbor called and informed the officer that the person who rang the members doorbell was a friend who was stopping by to pick up items, but the friend went to the wrong house.
The member was contacted to inform them that they will need a plumber to repair the pipe and that the person who rang their doorbell was a friend of one of their neighbors.

2/25…5:29pm…Zone 8…Cheyenne Mtn Blvd…Received a call about a suspicious male walking on Cheyenne Mtn Blvd towards Pourtales Road. Male described as a white male with long black stringy hair and dark clothing. The BIS officer arrived in the area at 5:40pm and saw an individual walking around Broadmoor Elementary property matching the description. No contact made since male was not on BIS member’s property. The BIS officer observed the individual from a distance until the individual walked out of the area.
