BIS Significant Crime Notes - 8/14-8/20

8:49 am, Zone 8. Cheyenne Mtn Blvd. BIS received a report of a possibly homeless male sitting on the curb who appeared to be ill. A BIS officer arrived at 8:56 am and contacted a homeless male. The BIS officer's assessment was that the man needed medical assistance based on his appearance and due to the man's statement that he had not eaten or drank water for a few days. Broadmoor Fire was called and responded. The male was transported to the hospital by AMR.

12:10 pm, Zone 1. Elm Ave/Third Street. BIS received a report of a suspicious older gold Ford 4 door vehicle occupied by a male and female that was stopped partially in the lane of vehicle travel. A BIS officer arrived at 12:15 pm and contacted a female in her mid 20s who stated the car was out of gas and that her male friend had walked to get gas. The BIS officer checked the area and Lake Ave. but could not locate the male. The BIS officer returned to the location of the vehicle and discovered the the male was back at the vehicle putting gas in. Both left the area in the vehicle towards Lake Ave.
