9/15 – 9:02 AM | Zone 9 – Napoli Way

BIS received an alarm call reporting a “trouble signal” at a member’s residence. A BIS Officer arrived at 9:07 AM and found the alarm silent with no signs of distress. Contact with the homeowner confirmed all was fine. The alarm was triggered by a child playing near a window. Officer cleared the call at 9:08 AM.

9/16 – Nothing Reported

9/17 – 6:02 PM | Zone 10 – Upland Road

Advanced Alarm reported multiple motion detector activations at a member’s residence. A BIS Officer arrived at 6:12 PM and observed no suspicious vehicles or individuals. A full perimeter check revealed no forced entry. Attempts to contact the homeowner were unsuccessful. Heavy rain and hail at the time may have caused the alarm. Officer cleared the call at 6:20 PM.

9/18 – Nothing Reported

9/19 – 1:29 AM | Zone 8 – Marland Road

Advanced Alarm reported a possible unauthorized alarm deactivation at a member’s home. An unknown person had attempted to enter a code and failed. A BIS Officer arrived at 1:33 AM and contacted a houseguest who lacked the proper code. Identity was verified, and nothing unusual was found. The houseguest had been awakened by the alarm company’s call rather than by the alarm itself. CSPD, already notified by Advanced Alarm, arrived with two units at 1:45 AM, were briefed by the BIS Officer, and all cleared the call at 1:47 AM.

9/20 – 12:46 PM | Zone 7 – Lake Avenue

BIS was notified that three evening-shift employees had their vehicles broken into the previous evening while parked in the employee lot. A police report was filed with CSPD. A BIS Officer followed up at 8:37 PM to interview the employees after work hours:

·         Two vehicles were left unlocked; cash was taken from one and a debit card from the other.

·         A third vehicle had a broken window but nothing was missing.

Break-ins occurred around 6:15 – 6:30 PM on 9/19/25. One employee discovered the crime after receiving a debit card fraud alert at 6:40 PM. No suspect descriptions were available, and no other break-ins were reported. BIS logged the information, shared it with all officers, and scheduled extra evening patrols. The call was cleared at 8:59 PM.
