7/1…11:14 pm…Zone 1…Pine Grove Ave: BIS Officer received a call from a BIS member who reported hearing tapping noises at the windows of the member's house. BIS Officer responded and proceeded to conduct a full check of the exterior of the house. No suspicious persons or animals were observed or located around the property or in the area. All windows appeared to be secure and did not appear to be damaged. The member was called back by the BIS Officer and assured that no animals or people were detected in the area. The BIS Officer monitored the residence the remainder of the night.

7/3…7:49 am…Zone 8…Cheyenne Mountain Blvd: BIS Officer received a call from a member about a suspicious vehicle that had been parked in the member's driveway for an unknown period. The vehicle was described as an older model, light grey sedan with damage to the driver's side door. The member was unable to see the license plate number. The member also reported that the vehicle was occupied by a WM with a "beard or scruffy face" and was wearing an orange shirt. The male had exited the vehicle and asked the member if he was at the right address. The male was also reported to state "I am here to meet Finley”. The suspicious male was told by the member that no one by that name lived at the address and to leave the property. The male complied and left the driveway in the vehicle. The vehicle was last seen going East on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. The BIS Officer arrived in the area at 8:05 am and checked the area, but was unable to locate the vehicle. No other calls reporting the suspicious vehicle and WM were received by BIS. The Officer logged the information for future reference and cleared the call at 8:20 am. The BIS Officer checked the area regularly the remainder of the shift but made no sightings or contact with the suspicious male and vehicle.
7/3…6:42 pm…Zone 10…Penrose Blvd: BIS Officer received a call from a BIS member reporting a suspicious male that rang the doorbell of the member's residence at about 6:05 pm and walked back off the property as the member watched through the doorbell camera. The male was described as a HM in his early 20’s, thin build with black hair. The suspicious male was wearing a black shirt with a white logo and black shorts. The male was not known to the member. The BIS Officer arrived in the area at 7:10 pm and checked around the member’s property and several side streets. The suspicious male was not located in the area. No other calls regarding this suspicious male were received by BIS. The officer cleared the call at 7:20 pm, logged the information for future reference and sharing with other Officers. BIS Officers checked the area repeatedly throughout the night attempting to locate the male - without success.
