7/14 – Routine patrols completed. No reportable incidents.

7/15 – 11:18 pm | Zone 8 – Northgate Road

Received a call from a BIS member requesting a welfare check on a neighboring BIS member who resides on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. The Officer arrived at 11:33 pm and observed the garage door open; nothing inside the garage appeared disturbed. The Officer attempted contact at the front door with no response and left a message through the home's doorbell camera. No vehicles or individuals were observed in the area, and nothing unusual was found. Cleared at 11:36 pm.

7/16 – 2:58 am | Zone 6 – Cheyenne Mountain Blvd

While patrolling the area, the Officer observed a dark-colored Cadillac parked with the engine running. The vehicle was occupied by a heavy-set Hispanic male in his 30s–40s with black hair, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. The male refused to roll down the window or open the door. When instructed to leave the property, he complied without incident.

7/17 – 10:35 pm | Zone 8 – Cheyenne Mountain Blvd

Received a call from a BIS member who reported receiving a video notification showing a black pickup truck driving on their driveway around the side of the residence and into the backyard. Video footage showed a Hispanic male in his 30s with a shaved head, tattoos, wearing a white tank top, blue denim shorts, and black tennis shoes. Also observed was a Hispanic female in her 30s wearing a black T-shirt with an unknown design, denim shorts, sandals, and black hair. The video showed the male forcing open the side garage door and entering the garage with the female.

The BIS Officer arrived at 10:36 pm and observed the male exiting the side garage door on the east side of the residence. The suspect immediately fled west across the backyard on foot. As the Officer entered the backyard, contact was made with a heavy-set Hispanic female with black hair in a bun seated in the driver's seat of a newer-model black four-door pickup truck with Colorado license plates. A second Hispanic male with a muscular build, shaved dark hair, and wearing dark clothing was seated in the front passenger seat.

The female revved the engine, placed the truck in gear, and accelerated across the backyard before exiting onto Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. The vehicle was last seen traveling toward Northgate Road. CSPD was notified via 911 at 10:37 pm. Two CSPD units arrived at approximately 11:04 pm. Video footage and suspect descriptions were provided to responding officers. CSPD officers searched the residence and determined nothing inside the home had been disturbed or ransacked. The BIS Officer cleared the scene at 1:30 am.

7/18 – Routine patrols completed. No reportable incidents.

7/19 – 7:48 pm | Zone 7 – Broadmoor Avenue

While patrolling the area, the Officer observed what appeared to be an abandoned vehicle parked on Broadmoor Avenue west of Tanglewood Drive. The vehicle was a late-1990s/early-2000s white Chevrolet Silverado extended cab with Colorado license plates valid through January 2027. The truck had significant damage to the driver's door with large sections of paint flaking off. It was unlocked, with both extended cab windows and the front passenger window partially open. Damage to the steering column and ignition was also observed.

The Officer contacted the CSPD non-emergency line and provided the vehicle information to the call taker. No individuals were observed in the area. The truck contained no apparent personal property other than a mountain bike in the truck bed. The vehicle was also reported as abandoned through the GoCOS app.
